The CycleOps100 Pro Indoor Cycle is very basic, it lacks some of the bells and whistles that you might see with a bike in this price range. Though, the lack of extras does make the bike a bit more affordable.

As mentioned, you won’t have to worry about stability or the bike tipping over. You can sprint as hard as you want and repeat intervals all day long. The base consists of 4 legs so you it feels like it’s not going anywhere. Adjusting the resistance is only a matter of twisting the knob, and is conveniently located right in front of the handlebars. And you won’t have to turn it far to increase the resistance dramatically.

Assembly requires very little time and effort on your part. The process is really a matter of customizing it to your liking, and inserting the seatpost.

Two water bottle holders are in place for added convenience so you will stay well-hydrated throughout your training. The seat replicates what you would have on a road bike and can be adjusted vertically and horizontally. The range of adjustment is between 66-92 cm. If you would rather have a different seat, then you can easily replace the current one with another. Pedals come standard, but can be exchanged as well for ones your prefer. One of the downsides however is that the handlebar won’t adjust forward or backward.

The bike does lack a monitor to track speed, heart rate, and distance data however. You will have to purchase a separate system in order to get this information while training. CycleOps does offer an upgrade kit for electronics, but it will cost several hundred dollars to do so.

With the CycleOps Pro 100, you are getting a top of the line indoor cycling bike at an affordable price. The best part of the bike is it’s performance, all that is lacking are some of the features that you might get with bikes around this price range. I agree with a few other reviewers about the instructions. Not the clearest in the world. But certainly workable. I am pretty good with my hands and follow directions well, so I had it all assembled in roughly 40 minutes. The bike is solid. I am 5’10″ and fit the bike very well. I did buy a padded seat, so I cannot comment on the comfort of the one that came with the bike. I was also very surprised at how quiet this thing is. You can’t tell anyone is riding it until you see it. That is good because the bike is in our bedroom and my wife sleeps much later than me – M Ambrosio

This is a well built, very sturdy bike with all the extras/electronics we wanted…It’s great for my husband who’s 6’3″ but for the shorter/smaller female (I’m abt. 5’4 & 1/2″) – this bike simply doesn’t work-It just plain hurts! Even when adjusted at the very closest settings & the lowest height possible, I can reach the pedals but then not bend my legs to the propor riding level (I do have shorter legs). Really, my only complaint would be the range in the resistance. It’s has a muddy mid-range. The overall quality of this product for the money seems very good. Heavy, welded joints with no movement in the frame. Solid flywheel which seems well balanced. Quite heavy, but expected with such heavy duty materials. The only complaints that I would have are that the brake squeeks slightly under low load and it would be a nice extra if the pedals came with clips so real cycling shoes could be used. Overall, quite happy so far.

The seat and handlebar can be adjusted horizontally and vertically. This in itself separates it from about 80% of the other indoor cycling bikes out there. But the Lemond RevMaster Pro takes it even further. Most other bikes have pre-drilled holes that determine where you can adjust the seat or handlebars to. The RevMaster however allows you to slide both to a position exactly where you want it. This really gives users a chance to maximize comfort.

The Lemond RevMaster Pro is tough to budge. With a maximum capacity of 350 pounds, getting it to move is a challenge, even if you stand while spinning. It might as well be bolted into the ground.

Pedaling is smooth and quiet. Almost no maintenance is needed for the belt drive. Tension knob is smooth and it comes with a brake that works very well.  The 47 pound flywheel is the heaviest of all the indoor cycling bikes I have reviewed so far. It speaks to the quality of workout you will get with this bike.

The warranty is also very attractive. This is one the best you can find in this price range. A lifetime warranty covers the frame, and a three year warranty covers parts. Chances are you will never need to put this into use.

I have been using this spin bike 4 times a week for the past several weeks. I can’t express what a great bike I got for the price! Assembly was really easy due to the fact that the nuts, bolts and washers were already in place for installation. No reading “Keys” to figure out which bolt goes where with what washer, etc. and no left over parts! The handlebar is also a bit wobbly and not the most comfortable to lean on.

It was very easy to assemble and is quiet when riding. I am 5’9″ and read some of the reviews regarding height and the bars not being tall enough. The bike is a perfect fit for my height. I have rode it nine times in the last couple of weeks with no problems. Like most spinner bikes there is some movement in the bars but that is normal. It came with 4 DVD’s and when you just go to the workout section of the DVD the ride program is well paced and keeps you motiviated. Great value for the price! It is a very quiet and very smooth spin bike. The seats and handlebars have nice adjustments. The only difference I have found in the bike I use at my club and this bike is the seat itself…my club spin bike has a higher end seat but that bike also costs almost double what I paid. It’s very sturdy, as it weighs 130 pounds and has a 40 pounds flywheel. Most bikes in this price range have flywheels in the area of 30 pounds.

The assembly will take around 20 – 30 minutes. The central components are already in place. All that needs to be done is to put on the pedals, seat, and handle. The tension knob adjusts rather easily, as only a few turns are needed to reach the next gear.

The seat can be adjusted horizontally and vertically. It’s comfortable for a height range beginning at about 5’4 on up. It’s built for larger individuals. While the bike is heavy, the wheels make moving it fairly manageable.

The handlebars can only be adjusted vertically. Some bikes are able to move horizontally as well, and this feature sometimes comes in handy if you are shorter or taller than normal. The range of the seat adjustment could be better, as any height below 5’4 is probably is going to be stretching to be comfortable.

An issue with most cycling bikes, the seat is not very comfortable. You will probably want to purchase a gel seat, they can be had for under $15. Placing a towel on the seat may also help.

This would be 5 stars if they had used sturdier packing material–Styrofoam just doesn’t cut it for a 120-lb bike. When I opened the box it looked like a bomb had gone off inside. Surprisingly, nothing was broken. The tab at the back of the frame where the cross-piece attaches was bent, but when I attached the cross-piece it straightened out. Still, I count myself lucky.

A few have received their bike with damaged parts. One reason for this is because it’s not packaged as well as it could be. Some received the bike with the protective materials having already unraveled. This has lead to damaged parts for some on arrival.

When the exercise bike arrived, I was pleasantly surprised to see such a short instruction booklet. Within 20 minutes, the bike was ready to go. As expected, the bike is compact, fitting into a small corner in the bedroom. Additionally (and unexpectedly), the bike is surprising quiet. This makes it very easy to watch television or listen to music simultaneously. I am enjoying this bike a great deal. It doesn’t take up too much room, although the “stow away” aspect of it was not as impressive as I was hoping–when you fold it up, you save maybe 1 foot of room. But that’s okay because it’s still a pretty skinny device. I keep it in the closet and roll it out every day–I wouldn’t say it’s light (it’s about 40 lbs) but it’s not hard to maneuver. My biggest complaint about the bike is the tension setting. I’ve used the bike several times and I have to set it to the highest tension to get a decent workout. I’m a bit disappointed that I don’t have anything to work up to – and I’m even not an avid biker or exerciser! I’m 34 in good health and participate in low to moderate physical activity. I do not recommend this bike to people who are looking for gym-quality exercise bike. All the tools are included so the assembly is very easy. The entire bike can be put together in under 30 minutes, as only six steps are required. Regardless of the pace you ride at, the Fitness Master X Series Momentum maintains its steadiness due to its solid and heavy construction. This bike is very high quality and performs without making little to no noise.

At almost 130 pounds, the bike is a bit on the heavy side. But, being heavy also means that it’s more stable and operates more smoothly. The wheels attached make transportation easier as well.

The seat does get uncomfortable after some time, so you might need to get a gel seat or foam pad. Also, some of the other more expensive bikes come with LCD displays that show time, distance, calories burned, etc. However, the Fitness Master X doesn’t have this feature. You can always purchase one from Amazon for around $30.

I have rode on many different spin bikes. This bike is comparable to any of the very expensive commercial brands found in the best gyms. I wanted to take my training to the next level so I purchased a StarTrac cadence computer. The result is remarkable. I am able to be very specific with my training down to calories burned, rpms’s, miles and time. This bike so easy to set up and use. I highly recommend it to supplement any fitness routine. I love my bike. It was took little effort and time to put together (my 8 year old son helped me). The seat is a little hard but most seats are. I don’t consider that a deal breaker.
