Pros
- Easy Assembly
- Stable
- Durable
- Range of Seat And Handlebar Adjustability
- Heavyweight Steel Frame
- Smooth And Consistent Pedaling
- Resistance Easily Adjustable
The bike is very easy to put together, as only a few steps are required. The parts are a bit heavy, so you may have to bring it into your home piece by piece. The bike is made of a strong, steel frame, and this makes it more stable and durable. The pedaling is smooth, and the seat and handlebar can be adjusted quite a bit to suit those who are considered shorter or taller. The heavy flywheel provides good inertia while spinning.
Cons
- High pitched sound
- Uncomfortable seat
- Lack of a computer
There is a high pitched sound that comes from the brake pads rubbing against the flywheel. It’s frequency is based on the tension on the break pad and your rate of speed.
The seat could be more comfortable. If you plan on using it frequently, it might be best to invest in a better one.
Also, it would be nice if it came with a computer to help track time calories, speed, and so on. This however is not a necessity and shouldn’t be expected with a $300 price tag.

Customer Reviews
If you’re looking for longevity in an inexpensive piece of equipment a spin bike is probably the ultimate bang for your buck. It was packaged well, went together in a snap- with few parts required for the simple design. It is built like a tank using heavy gauge steel and robust hardware. Only six supplied bolts are required for assembly which are heavy duty and even coated with lock-tight to prevent back-out. – Tribot (Michigan)
Assembly was also simple. Clear instructions. Did require one additional person for one task. Does NOT take up much room. The cycle meets all expectations. The user adjustments to cause resistance is easy to make and can be quickly modified. This product performs as expected for its intended purpose; help strengthen the legs and lower body to ride better. – DavidL (Lawrenceville, GA)
I have a bike just like this and it is awesome. The pedal action is smooth and consistent. Hundreds and hundreds of miles later it still runs great. – Blue&Silver (Hyrum, Ut)
